This is necessary because since the Ganon mummy woke up-an event called the Upheaval-Hyrule’s weapons have now all become corrupted. Then there’s the ability to Fuse weapons. In short, I had zero control issues with Tears of the Kingdom. It’s easy to construct and assemble objects and vehicles you just have to learn how. Some people who played the game early on complained that the Ultra Hand controls were awkward, and I can honestly say that this is nonsense.
You can also combine these with Zonai devices, such as fans and rockets, which use separate battery power. The biggest one is Ultra Hand, which allows you to pick up and assemble objects and create vehicles. Instead, we have Rauru’s arm, and this has a new set of abilities.
Functionally the Purah Pad offers much of the same world navigation as the Sheikah Slate, but the various abilities it had with being able to make bombs and stasis and the like are now gone. Instead, we have the Purah Pad-yes, she’s back, too. In short, the Sheika Slate and all of its abilities are now gone. This brings me to the new abilities in Tears of the Kingdom and how they solve various issues that were present in Breath of the Wild. Not to mention the various Korok puzzles using Zonai text. One nice touch is that the Zonai are not a new thing, as they were subtly telegraphed in Breath of the Wild with the Zonai Ruins and Barbarian Armor.
Not to mention that Rauru was already a different character in the previous games as well. Having this key part of Hyrule history revisited is definitely confusing, especially if you are a longtime player of the Zelda games. Link's new arm comes from the first Hyrule king and Zonai, Rauru.
