Touch mode enables two people to have one earbud to speak to each other in real time. The Touch mode is what you would use for fluent conversation. You can pop your phone on the table and have it relay the dialog and hear it in the language you choose and is a great way to listen to the TV news in a foreign language as you carry on and get ready in your hotel room. The microphone of your phone picks up speech and then the app translates before beaming the result to the earbuds. The Listening mode connects the earbuds to your phone using Bluetooth.
